I thought I was a Christian

I grew up in a Christian family, went to Sunday school and Friday Club. I went to a Christian boarding school. I have believed in God's existing. But as I got older I began to doubt. I didn't find the established church very interesting, actually I found it very boring. Going to church was something that I had to get over as quickly as possible. The Bible wasn't a very interesting book a cause of that could be that I didn't always understand the scripture while I was reading. One of my best friends joined a Free Church, and after the two years on the Christian boarding school I continued on a gymnasium with my friend. I decided to go with her to one of the meetings. The one thing I didn't know was that this meeting would change my life.

The meeting wasn't boring at all, in fact it was really exciting. After the meeting there was intercession, my friend asked my if I wanted them to pray for me. After a while I sat on the scene with black tears running down my cheeks. The intercessor saw me in a vision where I stood in front of two ways. He told me there was a decision I had to make. He did also pray that I should receive the ability to speak in tongues and later on that night I went outside to get some fresh air, I discovered I was speaking in tongues. I had an indescribable joy that night, I was so happy. I have had a personal meeting with God, which existing I always have believed in but never met.
