Leaders of the church but didn't knew God

Hi! Our names are Eigil and Vera. We are a couple that are respectively 62 and 60 yeas old. We live on a farm near Herrup where we have been living for almost 40 years.

2 years ago we decided to stop farming and chose to retire early.

We both grew up in Christian homes. As young we both were very active in the church.

Eigil was leader in the church for many years but we wanted to experience bigger thing with God.
Through some friends of ours we heard about a Christian radio station from Herning (KC Radio with Moses Hansen)

We began to listen to it and we went to a meeting. At the meeting God spoke to me (Vera) through word of knowledge and I felt a warmth go through my whole body. It changed my Christian life.

Suddenly the Bible was much easier to read and I even got a hunger for reading in it that I've never tried before.

Some month later I  prayed to God and asked him to fill me with the Holy Spirit.
I bowed my knees by my bed and I saw a very bright light come upon to me and I began to speak in tongues.

Eigil experienced the same thing with God a little later but in a different way.
We are profoundly grateful for the works God did in our lives back then. Later on we started a house ministry in our home where many was saved and filled with the Spirit of God and listened to sermons.

We have a great joy that the most of these people is still Christians and comes in different Free Churches.

It's almost 20 years since now. Now we are members of Holstebro House Church.

We are longing to see more people meet God, repent and be saved, to see men and women live a life of holiness with Jesus as their lord and be filled with the power to reach out to the unsaved.
